What is SIG?

SIG is a product designed for comprehensive solutions of secure network interconnections, especially for the protection of Internet applications. Thanks to its unique concept, it offers advanced protection not only against the danger of attacks from the Internet but also against internal attacks on a firewall in connection with attempts to illegally transfer data over the Internet.

When an internal network is connected to the Internet, there is a risk of unauthorized access to that network. This risk is reduced by a firewall, which can be implemented in many ways. However, even a good firewall implementation cannot provide complete security. The SIG system (Secure Internet Gateway) is a security measure against overriding the firewall.

On the other hand, with an authorized user of an application that is accessible from the Internet, it is necessary to ensure the protection of private data transmitted between the user and the owner. If the application only serves registered users, it is also necessary to ensure the secure verification of a user's identity. Both of these functions are supported by SIG.

SIG represents a universal solution for the implementation of secure connection of internal networks to the Internet, including the protection of data sent from/to the internal network and the secure verification of the communicating parties' identity.
