Basic technology

The generation of mailers is ensured by the OfficeLine ACM (Advanced Client Management) module, which has been expanded with new features.
The process of producing and delivering a mailer to a client using new possibilities is shown below:
1. Mailers are generated in OfficeLine. During the course of this operation both newly originated identification (and security) data and a printed set of mailers are stored in the database. These data and sets are not assigned to clients at this time.

2. The bank, A && L soft, or another supplier produces mailers based on the generated data.

3. The bank distributes the produced mailers within the network of electronic banking sales outlets. Every mailer carries a production number for the purpose of its identification.

4. The client visits the sales outlet and sets up use of electronic banking (possibly requesting the execution of another operation which requires the provision of a mailer, such as changing identification symbols). The client is given a mailer (the client may be assigned any available pre-produced mailer).

5.  OfficeLine staff are provided, from the sales outlet, with the data on the new client, including the production number of the client's mailer. The OfficeLine staff classifies the mailer according to the communicated production number. At the sales outlet, through which access to the OfficeLine database is ensured (for example, through ordinary or remote workstations), the operations described in points 4 and 5 can be performed at one time.
Pre-produced mailers may contain all types of identification (and security) data which are used in OfficeLine (client identifiers, client number, password, or PIN).

Security

Sets of mailers, delivered from OfficeLine to the place where the mailers are printed, can be encrypted for the purpose of ensuring secure transmission.
Use of data contained in a mailer for access to electronic banking is conditioned by the entry of a client record and assignment of a mailer to the client. The mailer can in no way be used until these operations have been performed.
