OfficeLine 3.5 enables, within a LAN, the encryption of communication between:
an OfficeLine server started in the "database server" regime and OfficeLine servers started in the "database station" regime,

OfficeLine servers started in the "database server" regime.
Communication is encrypted using the AES cipher with a static key. The key is safely stored in the local configuration of the program. For the mutual communication of database servers, a different key than that used for communication between a database server and database stations is generally used.
Encrypting communication, as a security mechanism independent of the security network, safeguards the system against internal attacks.

Prerequisites for implementation

Encrypting communication between stations in a LAN doesn't present any special demands beyond the scope of the configuration in OfficeLine.
