OfficeLine 3.5 features a new system for recording events in the operating log and for working with the operating log.
All of the possibilities of the original system are preserved within the framework of the new solution (on-screen log statement, work with the log using an integrated browser, filtering, storage of selected records in the database, protection of the operating log, and so on).
A newly enabled feature is the user configuration for processing records using a choice of:
conditions under which a specific action with a record is to be performed,

an action which is to be performed with a record.
Conditions can be specified within the scope of the already existing filtering mechanism (event class, identifier process, time, and others). Within the scope of the option, the following actions can be chosen:
where a record is to be inserted (operating log, on-screen statement, database log),

where a record is to be sent (to a server, to a connecting station, to a mobile telephone, or by e-mail),

processing of a record as an error report.

Prerequisites for implementation

Use of the new operating log solution doesn't present any special demands beyond the scope of the configuration of the required functions in OfficeLine.
