Basic technology For registration of managing clerks in OfficeLine, records of persons (stored in the table of persons) are used. These records are transferred to OfficeLine on the basis of a valid contract between the client and the bank. The mechanism for managing persons in OfficeLine 3.5, however, has been completely reworked as compared with OfficeLine 3.0.
The possibilities for setting up the the structures of persons (managing clerks) has been expanded by:
Security Setting up the access of persons (managing clerks) may be performed only by a user who has special user rights (manager's approval, see below). Access to the set-up is further conditioned by the user authentication (according to the bank's implemented security model).
The method of authentication can be chosen (from among all available types of authentication mechanisms) individually for each person (managing clerk). Setting up the method of authentication is performed in compliance with a valid contract; for reasons of security, the client does not perform this set-up alone.
User rights for handling an account can be set up individually for each person (managing clerk). These user rights are differentiated as follows:
Furthermore, individual limits for access to an account can be set up for each person (managing clerk):
There is a narrow relationship between user rights and limits: User rights are valid only to the extent of the individually established limits.
Upgrade from OfficeLine 3.0 to OfficeLine 3.5Upon upgrading to the new version of OfficeLine, connections to all of the client's accounts are automatically generated for each person. These connections can be further edited (i.e., by limiting the range of accounts accessible by the managing clerk).
Possibilities of use (summary)Every client can randomly determine the managing clerks who may access the client's account via electronic banking.
Every managing clerk can perform on the account operations for which he/she is authorized, and this to the extent of established limits (different limits can be established for the managing clerk for each authorization).
If a person (managing clerk) is an employee of more legal entities registered as clients in OfficeLine, he/she can be assigned to all of those clients and according to the established user rights and limits handle their accounts. Access to all of these clients' accounts is possible at the same time during one session (without the necessity of repeatedly logging in).
The client (person with manager approval) can alone set up access by managing clerks to his/her account through Internet Banking, for example.
