OfficeLine 3.5 presents the possibility to connect workstations not only through a local network, as has been the case so far, but also through an intranet. This new feature is a reaction to our customers' growing interest in reducing the costs incurred within their branch networks and trends in the construction of electronic-banking workplaces connected to a central OfficeLine server.
Workstations – connected through an intranet – enable access to all electronic-banking services supported by the installation of the OfficeLine server in use:
Intranet workstations can thus be used in the complete scope of the application. Let's have a look at some examples.
Client zonesThe bank can establish, in much the same way that a standard branch is established, a separate workplace providing services related to electronic banking.
Call Centers Call Centers could be built in a location which cannot be connected to the OfficeLine server using a local network (due to the high costs of such a network's expansion).
Access by authorized bank employees to the clients' dataUsing intranet workstations, it is possible for authorized bank employees (regardless of the location of their workplace) to access clients' data maintained in OfficeLine. This area of use of intranet workstations offers a very wide assortment of possibilities including, for example, the use of OfficeLine as a branch system.
