What is OfficeLine good for?

OfficeLine is used for the implementation of multi-channel systems for e-banking, e-business, and similar applications in the banking and financial sector that are based on the exchange of data and documents between the client and the owner through electronic means.
OfficeLine has been designed as a universal product. The specific services provided by OfficeLine, the conditions under which they are provided, the operating conditions etc. always correspond to the owner's requirements.

What distribution channels does OfficeLine include?

OfficeLine includes distribution channels that can take advantage of all currently common communication technologies that correspond to the nature of applications it is suited for. For instance Corporate Banking, Internet banking, GSM banking, IVR and other.

Is OfficeLine open to the development of the range of services that are provided with it?

Once an OfficeLine installation has been performed, it can be extended with services or distribution channels that it did not originally include at any time. The addition of a new service or the modification of a service consists of a simple modification of the configuration, which the owner can perform on its own. Also, adding a new distribution channel does not require any special modifications (no programmer's intervention) of the operated installation, just a modification of the configuration. Most configuration adjustments can be done when OfficeLine is in operation.

Is OfficeLine open to trends in communications?

The development of OfficeLine includes a constant addition of tools for the implementation of new communication technologies, placing stress on its backward compatibility. Distribution channels based on new communication technologies can be implemented within already operated OfficeLine installations with no need to modify the code of the operated installation.

How can a client get OfficeLine?

OfficeLine is delivered to customers that use it to implement services they offer to their clients. Clients do not get OfficeLine as such; instead, they obtain a service provided with OfficeLine. Therefore, if a client is interested in using OfficeLine, he or she has to contact its owner, typically a bank running an e-banking system.

What data exchange formats does OfficeLine support?

OfficeLine has a freely definable interface for the communication with other systems. This interface allows on-line communication (e.g. based on XML) as well as file exchange of transaction data using standad or owner-defined data formats. The configuration of the interface according to individual requirements may be included in the delivery or done by each customer on their own. Therefore, OfficLine is able to communicate with any other system.

What language versions of OfficeLine are available?

Currently, OfficeLine is available in the Czech, Slovak, and English versions. We ensure mutual compatibility of individual language versions, even within a single network installation. OfficeLine is able to provide information to clients in any other language.

What are OfficeLine's hardware requirements?

Generally, OfficeLine does not have high requirements for the hardware it runs on. The configuration of hardware is mainly based on the required capacity (the number of clients and the volume of processed transactions).

What platforms can OfficeLine run on?

The OfficeLine server can run on the Windows NT Server and Windows 2000 Server platforms. OfficeLine Corporate Banking (the client software for Corporate Banking) can run under Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows NT, Windows 2000, or Windows XP.

Which database solution does OfficeLine use?

OfficeLine uses a proprietary database solution that meets the demanding requirements for its security and reliability that result from the nature of services for the implementation of which OfficeLine serves. It is a fully developd solution, which allows clustering and data replication and efficiently uses hardware capacities to provide a high data processing rate.
The use of a proprietary solutions provides independence from other producers, so it, among other things, facilititates the product development and allows providing warranty for its security.

Can a customer rely on a high-quality service for OfficeLine?

High-quality service and technical support for the product are among our chief priorities. Can a customer perform programming modifications within OfficeLine?

Customers cannot modify the program core. However, they can take advantage of the integrated programming language Flex to add the required functions in the form of auxiliary modules.
