The OfficeLine Authentication Server is a product used to verify clients' authentication and messages using many different methods. It checks the data that clients enter to confirm their identity (logging in after the communication through a certain distribution channel has been established) or to authenticate the sent message (entering a transaction). The authentication services are available not only within OfficeLine but also for other applications that can communicate with the OfficeLine Authentication Server and use it for the authentication of clients and messages.
Supported Authentication Methods
Authentication codes and MAC generated by tokens,

PINs including the check of randomly selected positions only,

Passwords including the check of randomly selected positions only,

Thanks to its features and to the supported set of authentication methods, the OfficeLine Authentication Server can be employed in situations when:
It is necessary to offer various methods of authentication from a simple password or PIN, through grid cards and code tables, to strong authentication with tokens,

The given communication channel prevents the usage of digital signatures, or the usage of digital signatures is less suitable for different reasons,

It is necessary to centralize the management of authentication data and provide authentication services to other applications.
Integration with Other Modules
The OfficeLine Authentication Server processes incoming authentication requests from any OfficeLine distribution channel, with the exception of OfficeLine Corporate Banking, which solely uses digital signatures for authentication.
