OfficeLine PDA is designed for Internet banking solutions and similar e-business applications and miniportals, using the client's access through a PDA device.
Using OfficeLine PDA, it is possible to provide clients with all standard services. When used in banking, the services can include providing general information (such as an exchange list), or private information (account balances, account statements, etc.), or entering banking operations (such as a payment order, establishing a time deposit, etc.).
Integration with Other Modules
  When connected with OfficeLine Fax or OfficeLine e-mail, a client can use OfficeLine PDA to request the sending of an account statement and/or other information via fax or e-mail.

  When connected with OfficeLine GSM, it is possible to offer clients to configure information and notification sending (e.g. when the account balance changes) to their mobile phone.

  When connected with OfficeLine Simulator, clients can take advantage of term deposit modelling and other financial product modelling.
OfficeLine PDA allows combining the advantage of mobility with the relatively high user comfort provided by the communication through Internet (HTML pages). Potentially, it thus provides an easy access to a wide offer of services, from virtually anywhere. At the same time, OfficeLine PDA offers high user comfort and a high level of security.
Thanks to its characteristics, the OfficeLine PDA module can be used to provide services without limitation to a specific group of clients, from retail clients to the managers, to whom it offers an overview of company finances, with minimum requirements on their time, even when they are on a business trip, etc.

Princip funkce modulu OfficeLine PDA

OfficeLine PDA works as a PDA server integrated in the OfficeLine system. It provides a client with pages whose appearance is predefined in a configuration and into which it inserts data from the OfficeLine database (such as an account balance, turnover items, etc.) and appropriate texts as well as other data (such as a message referring to a request for processing etc.).
The used pages can be prepared so that adding a new service does not require their change.
The design of the web pages used is based on the service provider's requirements; service providers can design the web pages by themselves.
Possible Implementation Methods
The services provided by the OfficeLine PDA module can be:
  Independent from the owner's main (information) pages, which allows providing of general information about the owner and its products at a different address from the services provided by OfficeLine;

  Alternatively, they can be integrated in the main portal, allowing a client to e.g. enter bank operations or obtain the required information directly from the bank's main web pages.
The offer of services can be divided according to the level of security, so that general information can be available to all clients without logging in, while private information and active (banking) operations are only accessible after the client logs in (authenticates).
OfficeLine PDA supports both Pocket PC and PalmOS platforms. Compatibility with particular PDA device models depends on chosen design of pages. OfficeLine PDA's characteristics however enable to achieve good results virtually with any PDA device.
